Meditation

Mediation is a mental discipline by which one attempts to get beyond the reflexive, "thinking" mind into a deeper state of relaxation or awareness. Meditation often involves turning attention to a single point of reference. It is recognized as a component of many religions, and has been practiced since antiquity. It is also practiced outside religious traditions.
A further analisys of this of meditation shows that it's very helpful for the body and mental health. We become more balanced, relax and calm. The scientific studies identified , that it alters metabolism, heart rate, respiration, blood pressure and brain chemistry.

Lucky object

Sometimes we believe that the luck is hidden in some kind of amulet. It could be a teddy bear, a necklace or anything. The trick is that we believe so strongly, that it affects our mind. People actually make it up, becouse in fact the succes can't live in some kind of thing or object. In my opinion it has only the strong impact on our brains and believes. When we want something very much, we will acheve it.

Yoga

Yoga refers to traditional physical and mental disciplines originating in India. It links with meditative practices in Buddhism and Hinduism. activities—mental, verbal and physical.
It is a type not only of exercising, also the type of eating and healthy living. It has a long and interesting history. A lot of people treat it only as a good way to stay in shape and feel good. Yoga is a relaxation for body and mind as well as for spirit. It's a bit different from meditation, which affect mind and spirit also body, but not physically. Everybody can do yoga and relax, for mediatation it's a bit different, some further skills are required.

Horoscopes

Thy are the most common in magazines and new papers. It is a kind of diagram which represents the position of stars and planets, from astrological aspect at the moment of person's birth. In random horoscope we would probably read "what will happen this month".The redactors of magazines usually make it up and try to fit to everybody. Some people are addicted to horoscopes and in this case it can affect body or spirit. They actually don't have to be true, the person would just fit his life to it.

Superstition

Superstition - used as an unreasonable or excessive belief in fear or magic, especially foreign or fantastical ideas, and thus came to mean a "cult" in the Roman empire. It is a belief or notion, not based on reason or knowledge.
In my opinion the characteristic "to be superstition" is not a compliment. It shows that a person believes in silly things, which actually don't affect every day life. It can only confuse the mind and become an obsession. Sometimes the background of superstition can be ac culture, then it's rather keeping the traditions then belief.

High Risk Sports

There are some people who are able to do dangerous sports. It is all about the high level of adrenaline, which a hormone which response to the symphathetic nervous system. For some people it's very exiting, for some not. The adrenaline affects mind, but high risk sport can affect body in a dangerous way.

Dreams

Dreams are a series of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations occurring involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. The content and purpose of dreams are not fully understood, though they have been a topic of speculation and interest throughout recorded history. The scientific study of dreams is known as oneirology.
The dreams are strongly related to the mood and stage of mental health. Usually the ad dreams or nightmares would appear when we are worried or not in good condition. From some people the dreams predict the future events.

Relaxation Exercises

Relaxation exercise can be aby exercise which makes the body, spirit and mind calm. The Mediatation, yoga are also the way to relax. Both of them are good. The easiest mediatation is for example just counting to ten. Some people can just swich off from the environment and they don't have to madiate.
